Warranty Conditions
Diesel Generators Warranty
- 12 months or 1000 hours (both) from date of commissioning by Insight Business Services (Pvt) Ltd (IBS) or an authorised party. Whichever arises first.
- Electrical items (alternator and its components, starter motor, AVR, electronics panels, meters, indicators etc.) carries a 6-month warranty only.
Warranty limitation
- Warranty is limited to manufacturing defect
- Warranty doesn’t cover other accessories such as AMF, ATS, Wiring, Consumables (oil, filters, spark plugs, etc.), wheels, ware and tare items (belts, wire harnesses, clamps, recoil starter, etc.) and others such as batteries
- The warranty doesn’t cover replacement of product
- Warranty doesn’t cover damages caused due to God and force majeure acts
- The warranty covers only the initial user and cannot be transferred to a third party without the prior agreement of IBS.
Warranty will be null and void if:
- The product is damaged physically
- Services, maintenance and/or repairs done by anyone other than IBS authorised personal
- If services are not done according to the user manual and a record is not kept. (Please refer to the user manual of your product for the maintenance schedule).
- Breakdowns and damage caused by prolonged or incorrect usage
- Breakdowns and damage caused by prolonged on incorrect usage
